To make the most of a Similarity Report, look beyond the final percentage. The sources, length of matching passages and types of matches are essential to understanding the results.
The overall percentage indicates how much of your document has been matched to other text, but it does not explain the nature of those matches. Begin your review with the highlighted passages and their corresponding sources. The report is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute an official determination of plagiarism.
